What a plonker! Burglar gets caught by a toilet seat

We all know that burglary is a particularly sinister crime, so let’s raise a smile for the numpty who got caught by a toilet seat.

The offender broke into a house in Cymmer, and, having bagged his swag, took a quick loo break.

Unfortunately for him, South Wales Police later discovered a hair on the toilet seat.

Lee Hanbury, 21, was identified through the national DNA database and sentenced to eight months in prison.

Looks like the toilet seat had the last laugh.
